Hailing from Marseille, France, Romain Allemand represents the new wave of French freestyle snowboarding. A proud member of the French national snowboard team, he’s already making a name for himself with a style that blends creativity, amplitude and contagious good vibes.
From his very first runs, Romain fell in love with the freedom of freestyle. What drives him is turning every feature into a playground, every jump into a chance to express himself - constantly pushing his own limits. His aerial flow and knack for inventing new tricks make him stand out as a rider known for both his boldness and his positive energy.
In March 2024, he made history by earning his first-ever World Cup podium in Slopestyle at Tignes - a milestone for French snowboarding. A few months later, he backed it up with a third place in big air at Chur, before coming heartbreakingly close again at the 2025 World Championships in St Moritz, finishing fourth in both slopestyle and big air.
Continuing to carve his own line in the world of freestyle snowboarding, the teenager made the perfect start to 2026 by claiming victory in the slopestyle final at the Laax Open to become the first-ever French rider to win the event.
