A protégé of Austrian ski jumping legend Gregor Schlierenzauer, Stephan Embacher is a young and promising ski jumper who has torn through the youth ranks - winning four gold medals at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships - before making his debut at the 2023-24 Four Hills Tournament in Innsbruck, finishing in 13th place. His first podium in the FIS World Cup came that same season, when he was part of the Austrian men's team that placed second in Lahti, Finland.
The young Austrian started the 2025-26 season well in Sweden, thanks to an impressive second place victory, making his first individual FIS World Cup podium.
