Superbike rider Toprak 'The Fastest Kid' Razgatlıoğlu cemented his place as the future star of Turkish motorsports in 2015 when he left all in his wake to win the European Superstock 600 Championship.
That achievement was the culmination of five years spent rising through the ranks: he came second in the Turkish Road Race 600cc Championship of 2012 before winning the series the following year, and he placed 10th and sixth in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Success in the World Superbike Championships

In 2018, Toprak made the move up to the full World Superbike Championship and impressed with his competitiveness. At Donington, he became the first Turkish rider to score a WorldSBK podium, finishing second in only his 12th start.
The following season he collected his first two wins, with three more victories coming in 2020. Then in 2021, Toprak created history as he became the first Turkish rider to claim the WorldSBK championship – winning 13 races along the way.
The 2022 season saw Toprak secure a staggering 14 wins, however, it wasn't quite enough to defend his title and he had to settle for second place in the overall championship standings.
The following year Toprak was on the podium 33 times across the season, but again it wasn't enough to reclaim the overall title as he once again finished in second place overall.

World title wins

Having narrowly missed out on becoming a double champion, Toprak risked big with a move from Yamaha to BMW for the 2024 season, and although many doubted it would work out, he proved them all wrong.
After winning a WorldSBK record 13 races in a row, even a mid-season injury that forced him to miss two events couldn't stop Toprak from claiming his second WSBK title.
In 2025, Toprak continued his winning streak when the BMW star was crowned champion for a third time.

A new challenge in MotoGP™

With a hat-trick of WorldSBK titles under his belt, Toprak chose a new challenge for 2026, becoming the first Turkish rider to compete in MotoGP™. Racing for Prima Pramac Yamaha, he'll hope his aggressive, unorthodox style can deliver success in another high-profile racing series.
