Born in Bydgoszcz in 2005, Wiktor Przyjemski is one of Poland’s brightest speedway talents. A graduate of the Polonia Bydgoszcz academy, he became World Under-21 Champion in 2024 and has collected a remarkable haul of international junior medals. Known for his fearless speed and consistency, Wiktor continues to establish himself among the sport’s emerging stars.
Speed was part of everyday life
Wiktor grew up in a family where speed and motorsport were part of everyday life. His father, Dariusz, was passionate about motorcycling and rode motocross, while the family regularly watched speedway together. It was his father who first put young Wiktor on a motorbike when he was around five. By the age of seven, he’d been introduced to speedway coach Jacek Woźniak and began training in mini-speedway. Even at that age, his fearlessness on two wheels was obvious.
A bright young talent
Wiktor quickly established himself as one of Poland's brightest young talents. He won the Polish Mini-Speedway Championship in the 85-125cc class in 2018, aged 13, and the 250cc Polish Speedway Cup in 2019. He obtained his full speedway licence in 2020 before making his professional league debut for his hometown club, Polonia Bydgoszcz, in May 2021, just one week after turning 16. He won his very first race and, later that year, became the youngest-ever winner of Ostrow Wielkopolski's historic Łańcuch Herbowy tournament.
The following seasons confirmed his exceptional potential. In 2023, riding for Polonia Bydgoszcz, Wiktor topped the Polish second tier with an outstanding 2.500 points-per-heat average before making the step up to Poland's top division with Motor Lublin. His debut Ekstraliga season in 2024 brought a Polish team championship and the league's best junior award.
Piling up the wins at junior level
Internationally, 2024 was the defining year of his junior career. Wiktor won the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship, helping Poland to the World Under-21 Team title and collecting European gold with the national team. He also won the Under-21 pairs world title and the Bronze Helmet in Poland. In 2025, he added the Polish Under-21 Individual Championship and finished runner-up in the World Under-21 Championship after competing in the final despite an injury.
His success continued into 2026. Returning to Polonia Bydgoszcz, Wiktor helped the club secure promotion back to Poland's top division. He also won the opening round of the 2026 FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship in Målilla for a remarkable third consecutive time, before finishing the championship with a bronze medal.
Wiktor has built a remarkable collection of junior titles and international medals. From his first laps on a mini-speedway bike in Bydgoszcz to becoming a world champion, his career has been defined by early success, consistency and a relentless progression through the ranks.
