New on the padel calendar for 2025 is the FIP World Cup Pairs. The debut tournament is being hosted by Kuwait. Centre Court for both the men's and women's matches will be The Arena Kuwait in Zahra, with additional matches held at Rafa Nadal Academy.

Eligibility for the tournament was decided by players’ positions in the 2025 FIP Ranking following Milan P1 Premier Padel, which was held in October. The format for FIP World Cup Pairs consists of a qualification round followed by a draw to determine 48 male and 40 female pairs.
