The world's best mountain biking tricks are brought to you right in the heart of the city.

Red Bull District Ride is coming to the Netherlands. Four years after the last edition, the world's best slopestyle mountain bikers will descend upon Groningen's city centre. They'll take Europe's flattest country to new heights.

And for the first time ever: a women's competition 🔥

Red Bull District Ride brings mountain bike slopestyle from the mountain to a completely different setting: the city centre. Buildings become part of the course, squares turn into landing zones for an explosive mix of big jumps, tricks and style.

Red Bull District Ride is an urban slopestyle event in which we bring the sport of freeride mountain biking to the middle of the city to show it to a bigger audience

The best riders in the world

The line-up will consist of the highest-ranked athletes from the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour (FMB), who will be invited to take part in the Netherlands. In addition, wildcards will be awarded.
The only Diamond status event in Europe on the FMB calendar will demand everything from the riders. Red Bull District Ride places great importance on progression and creativity. The track, which the athletes help design themselves, challenges them to get the very best out of themselves. The jury is looking for riders who tackle the course in the most creative way, make the biggest jumps, and manage to land the most innovative and technical tricks. The Red Bull District Ride winner therefore has to be the most complete rider.
This year, history is being made: for the first time ever, there will be a women's competition at Red Bull District Ride. After the impressive action at the women’s progression session in 2022 in Nuremberg, now is clearly the time.
