Red Bull District Ride 2026 brings the world's best slopestyle mountain bikers to Grote Markt in Groningen, the Netherlands on July 25.

Red Bull District Ride comes to the Netherlands
Red Bull District Ride brings mountain bike slopestyle from its usual spots to a completely different setting: the city centre. Buildings become part of the course and squares turn into landing zones for an explosive mix of big jumps, tricks and style.
As Tarek Rasouli, the event's Sports Director, put it "Red Bull District Ride is an urban slopestyle event in which we bring the sport of freeride mountain biking to the middle of the city to show it to a bigger audience."

Why Red Bull District Ride matters
Red Bull District Ride is one of the most prestigious events in mountain bike slopestyle. As an FMB World Tour Diamond Event, it attracts the sport's highest-ranked riders and awards important championship points. This year, the event transforms Groningen's city centre into a competition course where athletes combine technical tricks, amplitude, creativity and style in front of thousands of spectators.
For the first time in its history, Red Bull District Ride will also feature an official women's competition, marking a significant milestone for the progression of slopestyle mountain biking.
What to expect
The custom-built course turns the heart of Groningen into an urban slopestyle venue, with riders launching from elevated features, clearing large gaps and linking technical tricks throughout the course. Competition runs are judged on execution, difficulty, style, creativity and overall flow.
