On September 23, 2023, the mighty RB7 - the Oracle Red Bull Racing car that won the 2011 Japanese Grand Prix - is coming to Thessaloniki to shake things up with its roaring power!
Former Formula 1 driver Patrick Friesacher will drive the Sebastian Vettel’s Championship-winning RB7 car, down Thessaloniki's famous seaside pedestrian street.
The iconic RB7 is one of the most dominant cars in F1 history. The 750-horsepower car with an eight-cylinder 2,400cc engine, that produces 18,000 revolutions per minute, has achieved 18 of the 19 poles in 2011 and recorded a total of 12 wins, giving the second drivers’ and constructors’ championship to the team.

Who is the driver of RB7?
Australian Patrick Friesacher is Red Bull's longest-serving driver and has drove for the Minardi Formula 1 team during the first half of the 2005 season. After his departure from the F1, Friesacher became an exhibition driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing as well as an instructor at the Red Bull Ring. Between 2017 and 2018, he was one of the drivers for the two-seater F1 experience car.
The best thing to do, of course, is to visit Thessaloniki and see it first hand. The RB7 will run along Thessaloniki's famous seaside pedestrian street, starting from the statue of Alexander the Great, showing off the true power of the V8 engine. Fast straights, turns, donuts and burnouts will transform the city into the ultimate center of motorsports.

A captivating experience village is waiting for you
The square in front of the statue of Alexander the Great will be transformed into a great celebration of motorsports, as there will be an experience village full of activations.
You will get the opportunity to see the original Oracle Red Bull Racing paddock where the team's engineers will be preparing the car, to race in the Red Bull simulator playseats, to test your reflexes just like the F1 drivers do through a reaction game, to see how fast you can change tyres in the F1 Pit Stop display and to get your. Of course, during the event you'll be able to 'refuel' with food and plenty of Red Bull.
After the show is over, this whole motorsports world will be transformed into a never-ending party with well-known DJs.
