Red Bull Wololo launched in 2020 as a new Age of Empires esports tournament, bringing top players from around the world together for its first online competition.
From there, Red Bull Wololo has reached new heights, culminating in live-LAN finals at iconic venues like Heidelberg Castle in Germany, which hosted Red Bull Wololo V: Enthrone and Red Bull Wololo: Legacy, featuring some of the most thrilling Age of Empires showdowns to date. In 2021’s Enthrone, Ørjan "TheViper" Larsen and Kai "Liereyy" Kallinger clashed in epic battles where every raid, rush, and castle drop electrified spectators, while the 2022’s Legacy edition saw Roberto "TaToH" Jiménez rise to the top after a thrilling final against Liereyy.

Last year’s edition, Red Bull Wololo: El Reinado, elevated the contest to new heights: held at Castillo de Almodóvar del Río in Spain, it featured the four game titles: Age of Empires I, won by Nguyễn “Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng” Đức Bình, Age of Empires II, seized by Hamzah “Hera” El Baher, Age of Empires Mythology: Retold, conquered by Themistoklis “TheMista” Bonidis; and Age of Empires IV, dominated by Alexis “MarineLorD” Eusebio. Now, all eyes are on the 2026 tournament - who will rise above the rest, carve their legend into the Age of Empires history , and seize glory in the next chapter of Red Bull Wololo?
