Baumgartner's free fall in a pressurised suit from 39km high in the stratosphere over New Mexico, USA saw him reach a speed of 1,357.64kph before he deployed his parachute after 4m 19s of free falling.

9,500,000 people viewed it live on YouTube.

The Austrian became the first human to break the sound barrier without engine power during the feat and also broke the records for highest manned balloon flight and highest altitude jump.

You can now experience the space jump yourself through two different options.

An augmented reality technology is available on mobile devices, and a virtual reality spectacular is accessible at the Red Bull Media World in the Swiss Museum of Transport at Lucerne.
With Apple’s latest augmented reality technology available on mobile devices iOS 12+, you can view the Stratos capsule in full detail.

It may only last a couple of minutes, but the unique combination of elements should ensure that visitors get a once-in-a-lifetime experience of how Baumgartner thrilled the world.
As he said himself, "When you're standing on top of the world, you don't think of records anymore. All you think is that you want to come back alive."
