Nikola Tsolov ended the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season on the world-famous Monza podium, confirming his status as the Vice Champion, while also helping his Campos Racing team to its first ever Teams’ Championship title.

Tsolov: A Final Push Secures Championship Runner-Up

Tsolov's weekend had begun in a disappointing fashion, as he dropped back in the early stages of the Sprint Race. Having recovered back to his starting position, the Red Bull Junior spun at the last corner of the race after making contact with a rival.
However, the Feature Race was another matter, and the Bulgarian driver quickly established himself inside the top three positions in a race that was disrupted by Safety Car interventions. Going wheel-to-wheel with one of his Campos Racing team mates for the lead, Tsolov secured his sixth podium result of the season with a second-place finish, enabling him to claim second in the overall Drivers's standings.

Tramnitz: From On-Track Victory to Post-Race Heartbreak

Tim Tramnitz was the class of the field in the Sprint Race, and dominated the race after moving to the front of the field. He then faced a last-lap shootout following a Safety Car period but held on to cross the finish line first. However, his work was undone by a post-race penalty for an infringement on the formation lap, with a 10-second penalty dropping him out of the points.
His Feature Race was a strong recovery drive following a pit stop for a front wing change on lap one. The Red Bull Junior scythed through the order to finish in 10th place, claiming a well-deserved point and fourth place in the Drivers' championship.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship concludes with both Red Bull Junior Team drivers cementing their positions as formidable forces for the future. Nikola Tsolov’s runner-up finish in the championship leaves him perfectly positioned for the next challenge. Tim Tramnitz’s on-track victory at Monza, despite the penalty, showcases his determined spirit and readiness to climb the ranks. The lessons and success of this season will now fuel their preparation for the next chapter of their careers, as they continue their pursuit of motorsport glory.
