The 2025 Formula 3 season commenced under the unpredictable skies of Melbourne's Albert Park Circuit, setting the stage for a weekend of high drama. Two Junior Team drivers, Nikola Tsolov and Tim Tramnitz, found themselves at the heart of the unfolding spectacle down-under.
Qualifying
Under overcast conditions, Rafael Câmara clinched pole position, followed by Noah Strømsted and Théophile Naël. Tim Tramnitz secured the fifth spot, while Nikola Tsolov lined up in 16th position.

Sprint Race
The Sprint Race was marred by technical issues for Tramnitz. Starting from fifth, he soon experienced mechanical problems, forcing him into the pits and relegating him to the rear of the field. Teslov took some first points home by finishing 8th.
Feature Race
Sunday's Feature Race started under heavy rain, leading to a safety car deployment. The race was eventually red-flagged on lap 18 due to worsening conditions, with results taken from lap 16. Tim Tramnitz showcased resilience, maintaining his fifth-place position throughout the race. In contrast, Nikola Tsolov's weekend ended prematurely as he was involved in an incident on the formation lap, resulting in a non-finish.
The opening Melbourne weekend presented contrasting fortunes for the two drivers. Tramnitz's determination earned him valuable points, placing him fifth in the championship standings. Tsolov, burdened by early misfortune, remained optimistic, looking ahead to the upcoming races with renewed focus.
