Lotus revealed they’d be the first team to show off their 2013 car with a live stream on the team’s website and YouTube channel on Monday 28th January at 19:15 GMT. The team from Enstone also gave fans the first taste of a 2013 car, sharing an audio sample of the E21 being fired up for the first time.
After the Enstone launch it’ll be McLaren next to reveal their car on Thursday 31st January, while the rest (excluding Williams and Marussia) will launch early February. It was revealed last week that Williams would launch their car at the second test in Barcelona on February 19th and Marussia are yet to confirm a launch date.

With rules staying pretty similar for the coming season, radical changes in the cars appearances are unlikely but it has been revealed that teams will have the option of covering up the ‘step noses,’ a look that proved very unpopular with Formula One fans last year. An option of a vanity plate will be provided for teams to cover the step noses.
