Ahead of the Suzuki Nine Knights contest this Saturday, Andi Wittman previews the Wildkogel course
With the Suzuki Nine Knights contest now only a few days away (Saturday, August 25), course designer and pro Mountain bike rider Andi Wittmann takes us on a walk and ride through of the Nine Knights course.
This is the second running of Suzuki Nine Knights at Wildkogel and there have been some modifications to the course from last year's event.
The course has been extended with a new obstacle, the imaginatively titled Boner Log, being added and there is also a new drop on the course.
Saturday's contest will see fourteen riders show off their best tricks in a 1.5 hour qualifying jam session. The top 8 athletes from qualification will advance to the finals, where they can perform 3 more tricks. The best 2 different tricks will decide the winner.
