Coello and Tapia had to work for their latest title, but once again they found a way to deliver when the pressure was on. After overcoming Juan Lebrón and Leandro Augsburger 7-5, 6-3 in the semi-finals, the world number one pair recovered from 5-2 down in the deciding set against Galán and Chingotto to secure another Superclásico victory and strengthen their position at the top of the 2026 rankings.

Galán and Chingotto arrived in the final without dropping a set and came agonisingly close to rounding off that strong form with the Paris Major trophy. They responded to losing the opening set by taking the second 6-4 and moved 5-2 ahead in the decider, only for Coello and Tapia to produce a late comeback and deny them the title.

Six finals in 2026 had already shown that Sánchez and Ustero were enjoying an impressive season together, but in Paris they produced a performance worthy of a Major title. The third seeds swept aside Calvo and Fernández 6-2, 6-0 to give Ustero her first Major victory and Sánchez another special triumph at Stade Roland Garros.
"Winning another Major here at Roland Garros, in Paris, is just incredible," said Sánchez. "I think it's the most special tournament of the year because of everything this venue represents."

Fresh from winning the London P1, Calvo and Fernández continued their impressive run by reaching a third final in just four tournaments together. Their biggest result came in the semi-finals as they knocked out top seeds Triay and Brea in straight sets, although Sánchez and Ustero ultimately proved a step too far in Sunday's final.

What this means for the Premier Padel season
Another Superclásico brought another major test for Coello and Tapia, but the world number one pair once again found a way through. Sunday's meeting was already their 11th clash with Galán and Chingotto this season and their sixth consecutive meeting in a Major, with the victory helping Coello and Tapia consolidate their position at the top of the overall 2026 rankings.
The women's draw provided a different story as both of the top two seeds were eliminated before the final. González and Josemaría suffered a shock defeat to Sofia Araújo and Marta Ortega, while Triay and Brea were beaten in straight sets by Calvo and Fernández.
