Grimes is soft and engaging at once, especially in her lead slice, Oblivion, which you'll swoon on.
Grimes is a sweet looking girl with a blunt fringe and angelic voice. Her music is hard to place: It's electronica, but it's indie, and it's pop. One thing that's certain about her sound is that it's infectious. "Oblivion" sees Grimes sprinkle her light lyrics over a chugging 80s bassline. Strangely, if you're ever fortunate enough to stomp the streets of Tokyo, few other things will prove as good a soundtrack as this.
