Le Mans was a pretty tough round for me, 2 DNFs 1 fall and 1 technical, I was really hoping to be further forward in the races by this point in the championship, but I just need to keep on pushing to reach my first goal of the Red Bull season which is to score points.
The team have been working really hard to get a good bike setting for me, there has been big improvements since the start of the season and now I think just some small tweaks here and there should have me feeling more confident.
I also think with each track being new to me, I spend most of my weekend learning the track but every weekend despite my position on the grid I do improve my lap times from the beginning of the weekend to the end and that’s a positive thing.
I think I need to be spending much more time during the winter in Europe learning the tracks that I will hopefully race at in 2024
I was set to head over to Donnington in the UK for the 2nd round of the British Talent Cup but I had an amazing offer from Vision Track who offered me a ride out in Valencia on the same weekend which I took.

I had a great time; the team were amazing and looked after me well. I didn’t make the main race but came from 16th in the last chance race to 10th position which I was very happy with, learning all the time.
It was also the weekend of my new 2023 helmet design reveal for my UK racing, still flying the Lincolnshire colours, certainly see me coming in this one.
I now have a couple of weekends off to catch up with my engineering course and I’m looking forward to racing at Mugello in a few weeks’ time.
