A few days have passed now since the last race of Season 2016 in Motorland Aragón. I arrived the weekend wanting to win, to be in the first positions in the Championship and to have the possibility to take victory at home.

The free practice allowed me to get up to speed, in the time sheets I got third position and was on the front row.

I had a good rhythm, but in the race, in the first return, I suffered a fall without consequences, so I could pick up my bike and make a comeback from 23rd to 7th position and only 0,8 thousandths of the head. I think with one lap more I would have tried to fight for the podium.
On Sunday I had to forget being able to get the podium and from the beginning to escape in a group of three.

After a lot of overtaking between us I got the second position and so kept the third place overall in the Cup. That is how I ended the season.

This season I got to mature a lot, both as a pilot and as a person. I want to say thanks to the Red Bull Rookies Cup, for the opportunity to get this and what awaits me in my future. Thanks to everyone that forms this family, Peter, Niki, Gustl, Berta, Jasmin, Dani Francesc, Santi and the other mechanical staff and people for all the attention that you have given me.
