Diego has big plans to follow his hero Dani Pedrosa, "I would like to be on top of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and then become World Champion in all categories."
"My first experience with a bike was at 3 years old but I was not really sure so I also did tennis and athletics. When I was 7 years I went back to the bikes, thanks to my dad. Then I concentrated on racing until now and becoming part of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup."
At school he enjoys Physical Education and English and when not riding a motorcycle he likes to go jogging and use his Play Station.

"During 2012 in the Rookies Cup I learnt a lot about motorcycle racing. In the Cup it is very important be aware when racing in a group, if not you could loose two positions in one corner. It's also important to get points in all the races and be consistent. Getting a good qualifying position is also important for the races. I also met lots of interesting people and got to know different countries. My experience in 2012 was amazing and I learnt a lot as a rider and also as person. All thanks to Red Bull, KTM and all the people involved in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup."
"2013 is going to be my year in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, I want to be in the top five. Then continue my career and become World Champion in all categories."
