Stronger Episode 4: Eagle Pass
Kazu, Longo and The Guch destroying it at Eagle Pass — does it get any better?
"Stronger," Union Binding’s team movie was one of the biggest hits of 2016, scoring Movie of the Year awards from both Snowboarder Magazine and TransWorld Snowboarding.
And while all the featured riders played their part, it was the big mountain antics of guys like Arthur Longo, Bryan Iguchi and Kazu Kokobu (Kazu won TWS’s Men’s Video Part of the Year for his movie opener) that really made "Stronger" a cut above the rest.
It’s the kind of rare coming together of style, talent and experience that will have every shred-flick connoisseur reaching for the play button.
For the uninitiated, here’s a brief look at their résumé.
Iguchi first turned pro some 25 years ago, and he’s been honing his skills in the Jackson Hole backcountry ever since — now that’s what you call "legend status."
In a sport that’s becoming increasingly specialized, French rider Longo is the exception: this incredibly talented all-rounder somehow manages to combine a world-class halfpipe career with stacking insane backcountry video parts.
And then there’s Kazu: the former Halfpipe prodigy who (literally) gave the judges the middle finger and became one of the most stylish backcountry video stars instead.
So that’s the pedigree, and the location is definitely worthy too: Eagle Pass Heli has some of the best terrain (and pow) that BC has to offer — plenty to keep these three busy hitting some of the most jaw-dropping lines you’ll ever see. Enjoy.
