The talented UK producer is joined by Rider Shafique, P Money, D Double E, Daley, and Kiko Bun on live performances from his acclaimed new album.
"A class photo of 2018" is how Croydon-raised producer Swindle describes the cast of his new album, No More Normal. Grime MCs P Money and D Double E, socially conscious rapper Kojey Radical, jazz musicians Yussef Dayes and Nubya Garcia, R 'n' B vocalist Daley, reggae artist Kiko Bun, and singers Eva Lazarus and Etta Bond areall in there, irrespective of genre. Equally influenced by jazz, hip hop and grime, with special guests that stay and play, rather than swooping in, it's the sound of dedicated artists joyfully discovering their common ground.
Swindle – aka Cameron Palmer – probably didn’t make it into his actual class photo. His energy and attention span got him into a stack of trouble at school, but they make him seriously gifted at connecting musical dots, and seizing creative moments: a one-man musical introductions agency.
"I thought it would be fun to bring these two together" he says in this See. Hear. Now. session of Take It Back, which features D Double E and Kiko Bun. "They work in such different corners of music, but there's something very similar about their energy, and I wanted to capture that."

Swindle deejayed his first birthday party at 13, built his first bedroom studio at 14, and laid down deep roots in the underground grime and dubstep scenes. No More Normal is his third album, but he's clear about its scale and intent: everything else, he has said, was just training.
