Discover Red Bull 400’s World Championship venue
Introducing Titisee-Neustadt and its Hochfirstschanze, venue of the Red Bull 400 World Championship.
The 'twin cities' of Titisee-Neustadt, in the very south-west of Germany, are set to host the first Red Bull 400 World Championships on July 15th, so we thought we'd put together a short guide for you.
The city has a population of approximately 12,000 and consists of two districts: Titisee, which as the name suggests is located right on the shores of Lake Titisee and, around 5km away, Neustadt in the valley of the river Gutach (from the German 'gut' meaning good) that becomes the Wutach (from 'wut' meaning angry) on the other side of the city.

Neustadt was founded in 1250, Titisee was incoporated in 1971 and the city was subsequently renamed Titisee-Neustadt.
The highest point, which can be found in Neustadt, is the Hochfirst (1,190 m). This is also the site of the ski jumping hill, the Hochfirstschanze.

Among the attractions of Titisee-Neustadt are the Neustädter Münster (church), the Titisee itself, the Hochfirstturm observation tower, the Märklin World Titisee (dedicated to the well-known manufacturer of toy railways) and, of course, the Hochfirstschanze, venue for the Red Bull 400 World Championships.
