Emil Johansson’s winning run – Red Bull Joyride

Emil Johansson won Red Bull Joyride in 2019, and the Swedish slopestyle star has done it again in 2022.

English

Emil Johansson won Red Bull Joyride 2019, and since then the Swedish slopestyle star has been unstoppable. The now eight-straight Crankworx slopestyle winner unleashed an arsenal of textbook combination tricks on Saturday night to secure an early victory with a score of 94.6. Johansson’s run consisted of an early half cab bar-spin down the opening step down, a 360 double tail whip into an opposite 360 windshield-wiper on the four pack, as well as a double downside whip of the log jam.
A win at Red Bull Joyride 2022 solidifies Johansson’s stature as the undisputed king of mountain bike slopestyle and sets up the 23-year-old rider for another Triple Crown win in Crankworx Cairns or Crankworx Rotorua – a historic feat that has never been accomplished, let alone in a consecutive year.
