With five national Supercross titles to his name, it's fair to say that Harith Noah was already a pretty big deal in Indian motorsports before the Keralan rider turned his attention to the international cross-country rally scene.
Noah started out back in 2009 as a 16-year-old racing local dirt track events, but by 2012, following a short spell in the US, he was winning his first Indian Supercross title. That title saw him picked up by TVS Factory Racing and a fruitful relationship began.
In 2018, he switched focus to cross-country rallies, before making his Dakar debut in 2020, and it's been a case of incemental improvement ever since. The following year saw Noah become only the third Indian athlete to finish the gruelling event – repeating the feat achieved by C S Santosh and Aravind K P – but also becoming his nation's first competitor to register a top-20 finish.
In 2024, he broke new ground and several of his own records by becoming the first Indian champion at the Dakar, in the Rally 2 class, winning two stages on his way to the title. He placed 11th in the Bike category overall, a mere six minutes outside the top 10.
