Hit the dirt in Battlefield REDSEC and rev up your engine to be in with the chance of earning some wicked in-game items, as a brand-new Red Bull-themed game mode hits for a limited time only.
Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet launches in Battlefield REDSEC from March 31 to April 14, 2026, and pits you and seven other competitors into a three-round dirt bike race to the finish, where only one will emerge as the winner.
Hop onto your dirt bike and weave your way through courses on the Tech Campus, Golf Course and Area 22B, hitting checkpoints along the way and picking up points – where the two lowest point scorers will then be eliminated after each round. The final round sees four players compete, with all to play for, and the first across the line will take the top prize.
From exclusive Red Bull player stickers to card backgrounds, dogtags and parachutes, there are plenty of goodies up for grabs from completing nine challenges.
Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet is a so-called Limited-Time Mode (LTM), which is played exclusively as part of Battlefield 6 Season 2 in REDSEC mode. In collaboration with Red Bull, the event not only brings the characteristic branding directly into the multiplayer shooter, but also brings a breath of fresh air to the multiplayer hit with adrenaline-fuelled dirt bike races, as the worlds of shooter and racing game collide for the first time.
Get ready for nine intense challenges, four varied race tracks and the opportunity to collect unique rewards in Battlefield. The game is played in a racing format consisting of three rounds. During the races, you collect points which determine your position within the races.
03
When is Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet taking place?
Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet runs from 31 March to 14 April, 2026 and is completely free to access. The only requirement is an existing copy of Battlefield 6 or active access to the free Battle Royale mode REDSEC, including all game updates. This is fitting, as the Nightfall phase of Battlefield 6 Season 2 introduced a brand new vehicle category – Dirt Bikes – which Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet is now celebrating in full.
Dirt bikes are a new vehicle category in Battlefield 6.
The event takes place in the Gauntlet mode of Battlefield 6 Season 2 REDSEC. You can expect an elimination format that differs greatly from the classic Battlefield modes: Instead of intense gunfights, Supermoto puts riding skills in the saddle of dirt bikes centre stage.
04
Will we be able to use any equipment or weapons?
The game mode is a sole test of your driving and racing skills, meaning no equipment or melee weapons will be available to use. Players can't take damage from enemy players or vehicles. However, vehicles can incur minor destruction from the environment or other player vehicles.
05
What's the race format?
In the first round, eight players will compete against each other on off-road motorbikes and collect points by driving through checkpoints on the track. The top six move forward, while the two lowest point-scoring players are eliminated. The second round will then be six players, with the top four moving forward to the final round. The third and final round will be four players competing for the top spot, with the remaining players losing and placing in points order.
06
The points system
Victory or defeat in Battlefield 6's Red Bull Supermoto LTM is not decided by your position at the end of the race. Instead, the time-limited game mode relies on a points system that rewards risk.
Points are collected by driving through colour-coded checkpoints. The more challenging the location of the checkpoint, the more points are awarded:
Red checkpoints (10 points): Difficult ramps and jumps or technical riding challenges. Difficult to master, but provide the most points.
Yellow checkpoints (5 points): Similar to red, but with less challenging jumps.
Blue checkpoints (3 points): Regularly found along the route on straight sections. Less challenging.
Pro tip: If you regularly take the red high-risk routes, you can score significantly more points with fewer checkpoints than someone who only collects blue checkpoints. So the risk is worth it.
There are a total of four different tracks on which the Red Bull Supermoto event takes place. Each track uses a different backdrop from the Battlefield 6 universe and offers its own unique conditions, challenges and characteristics:
Golf Course
This track is characterised by manicured greenery, inviting palm trees and winding asphalt roads, all set in an urban environment. Tight bends and Red Bull ramps characterise the picture.
Defence Nexus
Located in an industrial area, Defense Nexus takes you through a varied course that combines gravel tracks with tarmac roads. A classic supermoto terrain awaits you, which is particularly challenging due to the changing road surfaces.
22B
A desert base with radar domes, container barricades and coloured columns of smoke. Wide tarmac passages turn into uphill and downhill sections on rough sand, which demand everything from you due to the lack of grip.
Jewel Beach
Jewel Beach skilfully captures the summer feeling with a sunny beach ambience. But don't let the holiday atmosphere distract you, because the fast and largely flat asphalt track is full of treacherous narrow sections and sharp bends. Will you be the first to cross the finish line under the Red Bull Arch?
08
What are the challenges?
Those who take to the saddle of their dirt bike in Red Bull Supermoto are not just fighting for fame and honour. Or for the champagne shower on the winner's podium. Those who compete in this unique off-road racing game mode will want to secure the exclusive rewards that are permanently unlocked for Battlefield 6.
Don't miss out on the exclusive Red Bull Supermoto cosmetics
To earn these exclusive cosmetics, you must complete a total of nine challenges. These are made up of seven regular and two bonus challenges.
Tip: Not all challenges necessarily have to be completed in Red Bull Supermoto Gauntlet mode. But they all revolve around the vehicles that can be found in Battlefield 6.
