Gaming
It’s been a long road to GTA 6 and while Rockstar Games is still keeping players on the edge of their gaming seats, the Extended Look is on the horizon and the wait for answers is almost over.
Since the first trailer dropped, Rockstar has revealed just enough to send the internet into overdrive: introducing us to Jason and Lucia, giving us a taste of Vice City and showing off a world that looks bigger, busier and more alive than anything we’ve seen from the series before.
But trailers can only tell us so much.
The Extended Look could be our best opportunity yet to see what actually happens when players take control. From gameplay mechanics to the smallest details of Leonida, there are plenty of questions gamers are desperate to have answered.
Here’s a list of everything we’re hoping to see when we finally get another glimpse at the most anticipated game in the world.
1. Finally, Real Gameplay
After two cinematic trailers, the biggest question remains: what does GTA 6 actually feel like to play? We expect a deeper look at movement, driving, combat and the mechanics that will define the next generation of GTA.
2. The World of Leonida
Vice City is only part of the story. The wider Leonida map promises a huge variety of environments, from dense city streets to swamps and rural landscapes. A closer look at how these locations connect—and what players can do in them—could be one of the showcase’s biggest moments.
3. Jason & Lucia in Action
GTA 6’s two protagonists are at the heart of the experience. We expect the Extended Look to reveal more about how Jason and Lucia play differently, how their abilities complement each other and how their relationship influences the story.
4. A World That Actually Reacts
Rockstar has always pushed open-world immersion, but GTA 6 could take it much further. More dynamic NPCs, crowds, weather and unexpected events could make Leonida feel less like a game world and more like a living ecosystem.
5. Everything Else You Can Get Up To
From vehicles and weapons to fishing, diving, fitness, mini-golf and side missions, GTA 6 looks packed with distractions beyond the main story. The Extended Look could finally show just how much there is to discover when players step away from the main path.
Whatever Rockstar chooses to show, one thing is certain: the Extended Look is going to give the internet plenty to talk about.
After years of speculation, memes, and frame-by-frame trailer analysis, we could finally be getting a much clearer picture of what awaits us in Leonida.
And if Rockstar follows its usual playbook, there will probably be a few surprises hiding in plain sight. Until then, the countdown continues.
