Aziz is back with a new hit and a live music video that was filmed on the streets of Istanbul. Here’s what the maestro himself had to say about it:
I am a musician. First and foremost.
A music producer, singer, songwriter, performer… but a musician above all.
Back in the days:
the days where if you were not playing outside, in the streets, you were not “cool”!
And that was fine for me. All I wanted were notes, music, lyrics and inspiration!
Piano, then Melodica, and as of last summer: Ukelele and now – just a few days ago: Mandolin.
Am I “an orchestra all by myself” as I’ve been called out just recently?
What I know is that It all came slowly together – slowly but strongly and surely!
I am a musician. First and foremost.

My latest song: Mafi Mennik has just been released. You can hear it everywhere!
I can’t help but smile when I sing it or listen to it or even talk about it. It has that very personal twist, blended with a taste of positivity, happy beats, made with love!
The Live Music Video for the song is out now! Yes, Live since all the music instruments and my voice’s recording were done live – on the spot – with hidden neck mics, 2 very visible boom mics, the camera’s ambient sound and a crew of experts who made it all sound unique… But that’s not all… There were also the sounds of the amazing Istanbul streets, the ice cream artisan – planes flying over, the epic Istiklal Red Tram, and even other street musicians: all mixed to give you the most genuine performance of my life!
