The Middle East Games Con 2018 is right around the corner, taking place between 25-27 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre to be precise, and there’s so much to fit in in two days!

RED BULL PLAYER ONE - LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
The grand regional finale is here. After an extensive search for the top solo League of Legends players, the finalists will be at the Middle East Games Con on 27 October between 6 and 9pm for the grand finale of Red Bull Player One UAE.
The winner of the live tournament that evening will earn a coveted spot to compete in the League of Legends global finals in Brazil!
MEET THE STARS
There will be plenty of meet-and-greet sessions taking place during the weekend event, including one with our very own Adel ‘Big Bird’ Anouche. Him and NASR eSports team member Amjad ‘Angry Bird’ Al-Shalabi will face each other on the Zoom Entertainment Stage, before greeting their supporters at the Meet the Stars zone.
Joining them are renowned YouTube gamers Syndicate, who has skyrocketed to success with over 12 million subscribers, along with Simon Minter AKA Miniminter, one of YouTube’s top viewed FIFA gamers.
From Japan will be appearances by professional cosplayer Konomiakira; anime illustrator, character designer, and producer Mamoru Yokota; and rising illustrator Peach Momoko.
AWESOME TITLES
Plenty of fantastic video games will be available for fans to try out or play. Highlights include DOTA 2, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, Injustice 2, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Mortal Kombat X, League of Legends, Tekken 7, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
RETRO FUN
Be sure to head to the Con’s Retro Arcade where there’ll be plenty of classics to play, including Mortal Kombat, Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Pacman and Space Invaders.
ANIFEST
A special area will be dedicated to all things Japan, including anime, manga, cinema, music, games, fashion and food. Be sure to check out the traditional performances, the anime exhibitors, and get your hands on some exclusive merchandise.
COSPLAY CATWALK
This non-competitive event is suitable for everyone from first-timers to cosplay veterans, offering the opportunity to walk the runway in your best homemade or shop-bought cosplay costume.
