Zaid Ashkanani: A Motorsport Talent on the Rise
Zaid Ashkanani is a Kuwaiti racing driver (21 years old) who started his racing career by participating in 2012/2013 in the Silver category at the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East. In his first season he managed to overall clinch the 6th place and Rookie of the year title.
In 2013/2014 Zaid managed to take four wins and three pole positions and ended the season by being the youngest championship winner. Last year, he managed to finish as a runner-up in the overall classification after a tight competition with eventual winner Clemens Schmid.
