Malaysia based Fnatic Dota have officially announced the departure of KecikImba, KyxY, and JohnNy on Fnatic’s website.
The departure of KecikImba came quite expected after he put on a poor show and fans disapproval in The International 5. Our source says the language barrier between KecikImba and the team could be one of the reasons why the team under performed. This also led to a switch of role between KecikImba with teammate Mushi in between games. But could the poor performance of the team during TI5 be the reason why KyxY and JohnNy were dropped as well?

The change came after a bad time out at the recent TI5. Team Fnatic, who did not manage a single win in both the group stage and knockout stage during TI5 was ousted relatively early judging from their potential.
Fnatic Chief Gaming Officer, Patrick “cArn” Sättermon expressed his appreciation for the 3 Malaysians who had contributed so much to Fnatic for the past year they’ve been together. The team’s Captain and also star player Mushi expressed in the same statement that he was saddened by the departure but understands that it was for the betterment of the team. The both of them ended their statements with best wishes to the departing players. Departing players, JoHnNy and KyxY also expressed gratitude to the Fnatic team in the same statement. KecikImba did not release a statement.

The question now begs, what’s next for the team formerly known as Team Malaysia? They admit to be re-evaluating their options before making an announcement for a new roster.
Based in Malaysia, many expect the new additions to be Malaysians. Who's up for it?
