It was a moment that will go down in Austrian sporting history. Three of the country's top ski jumpers went head-to-head for overall victory in the final of the 2024/25 Four Hills Tournament.
What's the Four Hills Tournament? Well, if you're not from a particularly mountainous nation, imagine all four finals of tennis's grand slams squeezed into a week over New Year. It's a big deal and the action comes thick and fast.
This time, everything was on the line at the very last round in Bischofshofen, Austria. It looked certain that one of the Austrian athletes would end their nation's 10-year wait for a champion, but which one would hold their nerve on the final night?
In the end, 22-year-old Daniel Tschofenig brushed off the challenge of his more experienced team-mates, Jan Hörl and Stefan Kraft, to bring home the trophy and celebrate the greatest success of his young career.
We caught up with the high-flying Tschofenig to talks about the things he's changed to bring so much success this season, get some insight into how he's feeling after the victory and discover his plans for the future.
