Stronger Sessions Crash Reel

STRONGER, the Union Bindings team movie that swept the best movie awards this year, features a cast of shred superheroes without equal. With its balanced blend of veterans (Bryan Iguchi), legends (Gigi Rüf, Scott Stevens), superstars (Travis Rice, Kazu Kokubo, Torstein Horgmo) and up-and-comers (Anto Chamberland, Johnny O’Connor), this is a movie that covers all terrain and eras in crispy 4K perfection.

But, there’s a cost to all this perfection: next-level urban progression and jaw-dropping big mountain lines come at a price that many of us prefer to forget when we’re sitting back and watching the pros show us how it’s done. The standard currency is busted bones, torn ligaments and concussions, and in this, our final instalment of the Stronger Sessions, it’s all put together beautifully.

From Dan Brisse and Torstein Horgmo’s POV powder overshoots to Johnny O’Connor’s excruciatingly painful collision with the bottom of a 45-step handrail to Kakubo’s all-time overshoot ender, this is snowboarding entertainment of the guiltiest kind: watching the best guys in the world taking their medicine, slamming hard so you (hopefully) don’t have to. Enjoy.
