If someone asks you what your strengths are, how confidently can you answer? Some can probably recite them like items on a shopping list, but they’ll be many more without that level of conviction. And what if you were then asked how you apply those strengths in your professional life. How confidently could you answer then?
There are many of us who know what we’re good at, but fail to ever really translate those skills into our careers. And there are also some who have never really found those strengths to begin with. What that ultimately leaves us with is unfulfilled potential.
Red Bull Wingfinder is here to change that. It’s a free online test that you can’t fail – approximately 280 questions that will take up 35 minutes of your time, or thereabouts. Each of those questions has been designed to explore your strengths in one of four key areas: connections, thinking, creativity and drive.
Connections is your ability to manage relationships and how well you work independently. Thinking is your capacity to problem-solve and reason. Creativity determines if you’re an original and innovative thinker, or a logical and analytical one. And drive is all to do with your ambition.
These four represent the most influential components of employability and career success. Why do we know this? Because Red Bull Wingfinder is based upon 30 years of psychological research. Created by Red Bull and a team of experts from University College London and Columbia University New York, and developed with the input of over 10,000 participants, the Wingfinder model is a personality test unlike any other.
But enough of that. You’ve taken the test – now what? You’ll receive a full results report that breaks down what makes you unique in 25 individual strengths across those four key areas.
You may discover that you’re pragmatic in your creativity, or that you have a patient approach when it comes to your drive. And you may already know all of that. But what Wingfinder gives you is proof of those qualities. And you’ll also be given a separate Talent Passport that summarises your strengths for use in job interviews and to support your CV.
But Wingfinder doesn’t just tell you what your strengths are. Your personalised results report also provides feedback and coaching to improve upon those strengths. And you’re given tailored strategies – and the tools – to develop your existing career, or find success in a new one.
The Wingfinder model is based upon the belief that we are all unique, with different passions, strengths and goals. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t use others for inspiration. Some of the world’s best athletes and musicians have already taken the test, and some of them might be more similar to you than you think.
You may have the same approach to thinking as Lindsey Vonn, or the same connection management as Danny MacAskill. Wingfinder will show you this and reveal how Vonn, MacAskill and many others used their strengths to be where they are now.
With Wingfinder you can develop, grow and succeed in the career that is right for you. Take the test today and discover what makes you unique.
