Getting off to a quick start, Mitchell DeJong led the race from start to finish on his way to his first X Games gold medal.
After a red flag was waved on the first lap, Mitchell was unfazed during the re-start and continued right where he left off – in the lead. The 16 year old driver continued his momentum from his win at Lydden Hill in the UK.
With his victory at X Games (the first stop of the Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites season), Mitchell establishes an early points lead in the series. He will look to continue his momentum at the next stop on June 22 in Washington, D.C.
