In less than a month, more than 100,000 people have watched the first exclusively released segment of the movie, the Aptos edit. The response to this overwhelming demand was for the producers to release another segment for free: Follow “Strength in Numbers” now to the next station in Switzerland. Your tour guides for the Verbier segment are none other than Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member and first Red Bull Rampage winner Wade Simmons, as well as freeride icon Matt Hunter.
It’s not all about the trails, but where the trail is and getting to that trail!
Verbier, as well as being a winter sports hotspot, has an established mountain bike community that is constantly growing and is attracting more and more mountain bike enthusiasts every year. The Swiss segment with Simmons and Hunter demonstrates that an important feature for adventurous mountain biking is the well-balanced mixture of epic trails and big mountains which you can find in Verbier. The mellow backdrop of the Swiss Alps is of course the visual cherry on the cake.

The Switzerland session presents three top riders, Matt Hunter, Wade Simmons and local Swiss rider Ludovic May hitting the trails in Verbier. The clip makes the most of Switzerland’s scenery, showing stunning mountain ranges and narrow woodland trails. More than 1600 meters (5,000ft.) descent conquering some of the most challenging trails in Europe… Watching the Verbier trails will leave you inspired and eager to get out on an adventure. In Wade Simmons’s words: “It’s not all about the trails, but where the trail is and getting to that trail!”
