Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) is a pioneer within professional esports. The visionary organisation is legendary for bringing gaming culture to a world without boundaries.

Today an esports giant, the Swedish organisation started back in 2000 when esports was merely a blip on the radar. Having been part of the scene since its inception, this group of visionaries have earned their stripes by competing at the very top level across almost a dozen game titles and have become known for doing things slightly differently: “Today, it’s [esports] a fast-growing global industry. That didn't happen because we visionaries stuck to conventional wisdom. It happened because we decided to change the game.”

Within a year of its creation, NIP had its first big success at the Cyberathlete Professional League World Championships in 2001. A telling sign of what was about to unfold. In the following years, the team gained momentum and asserted its dominance in contests across the globe. Receiving about 100,000 members on their website in Europe during their first two years, NIP was also the first team outside of Asia to enter the Asian market.

For the past 20 years, NIP has successfully expanded across different platforms and games with active teams in Counter-Strike, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and FIFA.

In a fast-growing industry, NIP remains true to its roots whilst still looking for new and exciting ways to change the game.
