Juan Lebrón began playing padel as a child in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, and quickly progressed through the junior ranks. Nicknamed 'El Lobo', he went on to become the first Spanish-born player to reach the top of the world rankings.
Rise to world No. 1
Lebrón reached a major career milestone in 2019 after teaming up with Paquito Navarro. The pair won five World Padel Tour titles and finished the season at the top of the world rankings, making Lebrón the first Spanish man to reach world No. 1.
In 2020, he joined forces with Alejandro Galán and began one of the defining partnerships of the World Padel Tour era. Together they finished as the world's No. 1 pair in 2020, 2021 and 2022, extending Lebrón's run at the top to four consecutive seasons.
A new chapter on Premier Padel
Lebrón's 2023 season was disrupted by an arm injury that kept him away from competition for several weeks. He returned alongside Galán later that year, with the pair remaining together into the start of the 2024 Premier Padel season.
Lebrón and Galán opened 2024 by winning the Riyadh Season P1 before ending their partnership in March after more than four years together. Lebrón went on to play with Momo González and reunite with Paquito Navarro before joining Martín Di Nenno for the second half of the season, with the new pair winning the Finland P2.
In 2025, Lebrón teamed up with Franco Stupaczuk, winning the Cancún P2 and reaching four further Premier Padel finals together. Late in the season, Lebrón began a new partnership with rising Argentine star Leandro Augsburger, with the pair reaching the semi-finals on their debut together at the Acapulco Major.
Success with Leandro Augsburger
Lebrón and Augsburger continued their partnership into 2026, reaching the final in Cancún before claiming their first title together at the Brussels P2. Their run to the trophy included victories over Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán in the semi-finals and world No. 1 pair Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia in the final.
The partnership has kept Lebrón among the leading players on the Premier Padel circuit as he continues to compete near the top of the FIP rankings.
