Racing bikes around the world and getting paid for it sounds wonderful, doesn't it? For those who make it to the pro ranks and do exactly that they'll tell you it's no easy walk in the park. There's been a lot of hard work to make it there and, once you've made it, there are limited opportunities to show just how good you are from one racing weekend to the next.
Trek Bikes' new feature length film, Going In, is a unique insight into the world of pro mountain bike racing. It follows Trek Factory Racing and the mountain bike athletes on its downhill, cross-country and enduro rosters throughout the 2019 season. Watch it now in the player at the top of the page.

So who features in Going In?

Batty is one of cross-country mountain bike's most recognisable athletes having ridden on the world circuit since 2010. She's been on a Trek bike ever since. While a World Cup win eludes her, she has World Championship bronze medals from 2016 and 2018.
Pedro Burns

Kade Edwards

This Brit is a former Junior Downhill World Champion who made the step up to the Elite World Cup circuit in 2019. Edwards talents go beyond the race track and he's equally at home riding dirt jumps, freeride lines and on a BMX, skateparks. Whatever bike he chooses to ride you can bet Edwards puts his own stylish spin to it as loves nothing more than getting air and going sideways. Watch Edwards and his best mate Kaos Seagrave do just that in Whistler, Canada, in their MTB Raw edit.

Richards is an up-and-coming talent with potential to score future World Cup wins, not only as a mountain bike athlete but also in cyclo-cross. Richards has raced in the U23 category up until 2020 where she has two World Cup wins, including a win in Trek colours at the World Cup round in Snowshoe in 2019.
