Cycling through Styria (Štajerska)
This region will charm you with its picturesque landscapes, friendly paths, and stops at farms where you can get to know local life. The routes combine cycling, sightseeing, and culinary experiences.

Bike parks for adrenaline enthusiasts
Slovenia offers an exceptionally extensive network of bike parks and trail centers suitable for both beginners and the most experienced adrenaline seekers (But not for Pony bikes—this time, leave yours at home). Among the most famous are Bike Park Pohorje near Maribor, Bike Park Krvavec with views of the Ljubljana Basin, and Bike Park Kranjska Gora, which impresses with its Alpine backdrop. Cycling by the water – experiences along rivers and lakes
Rivers, lakes, and their shores invite cyclists to enjoy easy, scenic tours—more than perfect for sunny days. In Slovenia, these routes can be found along the Drava River, by Lake Bohinj, or along the Kolpa River in the south of the country. Such cycling trips offer opportunities for swimming, picnics, and enjoying nature.

Would you rather ride down to the sea? The Slovenian coast and its hilly hinterland are excellent spots for cycling trips and active hikes. Many trails lead through vineyards, olive groves, and authentic Istrian villages, and the area is also perfect for viewing natural and cultural sights.
