MTB freerider Szymon Godziek is at the top of his game. The Polish rider, who names multi-talented legend Travis Pastrana as his idol, has already accumulated an epic list of achievements in his career.

From Poland to the international stage

With wins on his home turf at competitions like the Wombat Dirt Jumping Cup and Sfera Sportu Dirt Jumping Cup, Godziek had already made waves in Poland before taking the international stage by storm, securing a string of podium finishes, including second place at the Nine Knights MTB in Germany.
In recent seasons, Godziek has remained at the forefront of freeride MTB, highlighted by his second-place finish at the 2024 Red Bull Rampage. He led much of the event with a huge first run, featuring a massive drop and highly technical tricks like flips on big natural features. His ability to blend slopestyle tricks into extreme terrain continues to set him apart from the field.

No stopping despite setback

In 2025, he returned as a top contender but suffered a heavy crash during his run and did not place. Despite that setback, his willingness to push progression at the highest level keeps him among the sport’s most influential riders, consistently shaping what’s possible in modern freeride.
Meanwhile, when he's not competing or training, Godziek can often be found in front of a camera, helping to bring freeriding to a much wider audience, as well as competing in the biggest of events, such as Red Bull Rampage. After all, he's just a guy who loves to ride his bike.
