這週末許多選手為了即將開始的Red Bull Wake Open家在佛羅里達州聚集，連續三天的活動表演三種項目：Boat、Big Air以及Park。在25,000位觀眾前，利用全方面的技巧奪得冠軍頭銜的就是加拿大籍的Raphael Derome。

活動的主辦人排除萬難使得選手們把花式滑水帶到了下一個等級。同時也創造了龐大的比賽場地，全新的貫穿Garrison海峽的系統Sesitec System 2.0給了參賽者可以無憂慮駕駛的機會。活動的尾聲，在澳籍的Harley Clifford被冠上King of Boat之稱的同時，20歲的加拿大籍新星Raphael Derome完成了令人印象深刻的帽子花招，同時贏得了另外兩個項目Big Air及Park。
