Amon-Ra St. Brown is a standout wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, celebrated for his intensity, precision, and razor-sharp football IQ. Raised in a multicultural family, his roots span from his hometown of Anaheim Hills, California to Leverkusen, Germany — where his mother Miriam grew up. And his father Jon is a former Mr. Universe and Mr. World bodybuilder.
From an early age, Amon-Ra’s athletic talent was evident. By age 6, he was lifting PVC pipes and doing sled drills in the park, already developing the relentless work ethic his father instilled in him. He carried that drive to Mater Dei High and then the University of Southern California, where he became known as a precision route-runner with reliable hands and smart play instincts.
Drafted in the fourth round (112th overall) by Detroit in 2021, St. Brown quickly shattered Lions rookie records with 90 receptions and 912 yards, despite being overlooked by many pre-draft evaluations.
In his first four seasons, he has amassed 430 receptions, 4,851 yards, and 33 touchdowns, earning Pro Bowl nods three years in a row and First-Team All-Pro honors in 2023 and 2024. He's emerged as the most reliable pass-catcher, anchoring a high-powered offense for the Lions.
Off the field, he’s growing the game internationally— leading youth football camps in Germany and serving as a Global Flag Football Ambassador for the NFL. That same passion and purpose carries into everything he does. Fueled by discipline, shaped by family, and driven by one mission — “Super Bowl or nothing” — Amon-Ra St. Brown is one of the NFL’s most compelling and dynamic forces, on and off the field.
