Ayhancan Güven's greatest advantage was his early introduction to motorsports. Born in 1998, he was too young to even get into a kart without the pedals and additional parts when he started going to races with his father, Hakan Güven, who was a pilot.
Simulations also played a significant role in Ayhancan's motorsports journey. At just 15 years old, he became the world runner-up in Gran Turismo among a million players, and it didn't take long for his talent to translate onto the road. First, he achieved victories in Volkicar, and then, at only 18, he won the Champions' Championship in Türkiye.

Doors began to open

Following these successes, doors to international competitions gradually opened for Ayhancan. In 2017, he gained international experience in the Porsche Cup. He quickly adapted to the new cars. By 2018, he had already won the Porsche Cup Benelux and Porsche Cup France championships.
2019 was the year Ayhancan Güven's name was most widely known. He completed his first season in the Porsche Supercup as rookie champion and second overall. His victory at Silverstone, one of motorsport's most iconic circuits, was one of the unforgettable moments of the season for him.
Ayhancan continued his successful performance in the 2020 and 2021 seasons, finishing third in both Porsche Supercup seasons. In 2022, he participated in a single DTM race, becoming the first Turkish driver to compete in DTM.

New challenges

In 2023, Ayhancan took on the biggest challenge of his career, deciding to compete in a full season in DTM. After a challenging season, Ayhancan continued to compete in DTM in 2024.
In the 2025 season, Ayhancan competed in various events, achieving a podium finish with Wright Motorsports at the Daytona 24 Hours, the first major event of the year. However, his real historic success came in DTM. Ayhancan became the first Turkish driver to win the DTM championship with an incredible attack on the final lap of the season's last race. In 2026, Ayhancan will be competing in the ADAC Ravenol 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
This is just the beginning. He has a long career ahead of him, many races to win, and many young drivers to inspire. He has no intention of slowing down on this journey.
