Growing up in Destrehan, Louisiana, Broc Raiford was riding a bicycle without training wheels by the age of 2. He turned pro at 18 and by 19 he was on the cover of Transworld Ride BMX and swept all categories at the Chicago Invitational.
Broc subsequently captured X Games bronze and won the Vans Street Invitational and the Battle of Hastings. But in 2018 he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, requiring over eight months of rehabilitation. He decided to work not only on healing his knee but also on his overall health and mindset.
When Broc did return, he won Highest Bunny Hop and Best Trick at the 2019 Vans Rebel Jam and kicked on with even bigger wins after that, including the much-loved Simple Session, proving that he'd come back stronger than ever.
In recent years Broc has won Simple Session and the Battle of Hastings, as well as produced a series of world-class video parts.
Known for his smooth and flowing style, which is quite surprising from such a tall and powerful rider, Broc loves to compete and push for podium finishes.
