In 2009, standing 160m up and armed with a toilet roll as his only means of testing the direction and strength of the wind, Cédric Dumont leapt from the Vilnius TV Tower, Lithuania's tallest building, freefalling for four seconds before opening his parachute. Although in an iconic location, this was far from his highest jump.
Cédric has jumped from the then-highest railway bridge in the world (201m) in Podgorica, Montenegro, the highest suspension bridge in the world, the Royal Gorge Bridge in Cañon City, Colorado (384m), and from 431m in a BASE wingsuit from the Jin-Mao tower in Shanghai, China.
After discovering the 1988 film Pushing the Limits, he found a new passion for skydiving, and by 1993 was certified and ready to take on the skies.
He made the switch to BASE jumping in 1996, and since completing his first jump has competed in the X Games three times, finished third in the Skysurfing World Cup and won the Brazilian Open of Skysurfing. Cédric has more than 10,000 skydives and 2,000 BASE jumps on his record, always travelling the world in search of new adventures.
Besides being an Action/Adventure Sports athlete, Cédric's degree in Applied Sports Psychology allowed him to begin his coaching vocation by giving professional athletes the mental edge and skills necessary to achieve their goals and unleash their full potential.
Cédric brings an advanced vision and inspirational perspective to sports psychology and mental training. In extreme sports, where you're expected to deliver in high-pressure environments, flow, focus, hyper-awareness, self-talk, positive rituals and visualisation have been core skills to his consistent performance.
Coupled with his tremendous wealth of experience and passion, Cédric's ideally placed to help individuals in achieving success and attaining their goals.
