Chance Hymas was born into the sport of motocross. His father, Chris, owns a power sports dealership in their hometown of Pocatello, Idaho, and Chance was enamored with the sport from a young age. He liked to ride anywhere at any time.

Being highly skilled in all types of race craft, Hymas had a unique path to pro success. While in the process of becoming one of the most sought-after amateur motocross racers, the Idaho native was known to show up and compete in off-road events on the West Coast during off-weekends.
