Daniel Ricciardo rose through the motorsport ranks after showing strong promise in karting, then earning a scholarship to Formula BMW Asia, and then taking on the European ranks. After some early success in Formula Renault, Ricciardo joined the Red Bull Junior Team in 2008 before graduating to Formula 1, racing with Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2012 and 2013. He earned a seat with Infiniti Red Bull Racing in 2014 and won three Grand Prix in his debut season with the team. Over five seasons with Red Bull Racing, Ricciardo claimed seven F1 victories, 29 podium finishes, three pole positions, and helped establish Red Bull as one of the sport's premier teams during the hybrid era.
