Esfand’s path to streaming was unexpected. Growing up in Texas, he played football for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs until he was sidelined by a career-ending injury. With his newfound free time, he began streaming World of Warcraft on YouTube – not to gain a following, but because he lacked the hard drive space to store his content. Esfand’s practical solution quickly gained traction, propelling him to one of the most-watched WoW streamers. Considered the "unofficial face of Classic WoW,” he was a content creator before the game’s official release.
He never tethered away from football however–He began streaming Madden NFL to connect his gaming audience with his love for sports. Here, he spawned his 'Coach Esfand' persona, who he describes as “a coach with all the worst qualities of every Football coach you’ve ever seen.” Esfand continues to host Esfand’s Draft Night Extravaganza, his own annual Round 1 NFL Draft Coverage in partnership with Twitch.
He continued roleplaying in 2024 in GTARP, earning him the #9 most-watched English livestreaming channel in the world. His influence was celebrated at The Streamer Awards that same year, where he was recognized as the Best Roleplay Streamer. Esfand’s IRL streams and variety of gaming content engages fans with over 1.4 million subscribers on his Twitch channel today.
Beyond streaming, his business ventures include founding content organization One True King (OTK), pre-built PC company Starforge Systems, video games publisher Mad Mushroom, talent management agency Mythic Talent, and brand marketing agency Cross Realm. OTK currently has 1.6 million followers across their platform, while Starforge Systems collaborates with brands such as Gloomy Bear, Frieren, and Red Bull-backed Sentinels.
