Known for her massive spins and clean style, Japanese snowboarder Mitsuki Ono has emerged as one of the leading stars on the halfpipe scene.

Having taken an interest in snowboarding from an early age, Mitsuki Ono spent much of her childhood travelling from her hometown of Yoshikawa to the nearest indoor ski resort. It was here that she perfected the huge spins and smooth style that would soon see her excel in high profile junior competitions around the world.

Mitsuki claimed gold in the halfpipe at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Cardrona, New Zealand and repeated the feat one year later in Leysin, Switzerland. The then teenager surprised even herself when collecting another gold medal, this time at the 2020 Youth Games in Lausanne, Switzerland.
