Wael Arakji is one of the stars of pro basketball in Lebanon. He's known for his ability for doing what it takes to win matches – if his team needs to defend, you’ll find him defending like a lion in the defence, and prepare yourself to witness something legendary when he attacks.
Arakji has played in many leagues around the world during his career, turning out for teams in Kuwait, Lebanon, China, the USA, Qatar and Tunisia.
He has a huge list of accolades to his name that includes winning the Tunisian Basketball League and Tunisia Basketball Cup with US Monastir, the Qatar Basketball League with Al-Shamal and five Lebanese league titles with Beirut Club and Al Riyadi Beirut.
The shooting guard wants to be remembered as one of the best players in his position in the Middle East and North Africa region – and it seems he's well on his way to achieving that aim.
