A Bomb’s Journey: Rebecca Rusch Returns to Laos
Help clear unexploded ordnance — yes, bombs — that still litter the countryside after the Vietnam war with the champion mountain biker.
Rebecca Rusch’s journey on the Ho Chi Minh trail as captured in Blood Road opened her eyes to the millions of deadly unexploded ordnance (UXO) that still litter the Laos countryside.
Following her 1,200-mile ride, Rusch decided to use her bicycle to create change in the region. “Bomb’s Journey” captures Rebecca’s return to Laos to work with the majority-female teams who spend their days clearing deadly unexploded ordnance (UXO), as she raises money for the clearance and awareness of the issue with non-profit partners at Mines Advisory Group and Article 22.
